UNIFI welcomed the MYCORRAY Consortium in Florence

Last 29th January 2015 was held in Florence (IT) the M24 General Meeting of the project. University of Florence (UNIFI) hosted the Meeting which was assisted by all partners. The city known as the “cradle of the Renaissance”, witnessed the progress done so far by the RTDs.

A short demonstration session took place and UNIFI demonstrated to the partners a new complete sample preparation protocol based on a commercial kit than is an alternative than the presented by FERA in previous demonstrations. A last version of the MYCORRAY device and its updated software were also presented.

Now that the reader is fully assembled and fully operative and all protocols and arrays are ready, is time to validate the technology using real samples, comparing its results with the standard methodologies.

Besides all R&D novelties, other issues related to dissemination and exploitation activities were also addressed by the team. To finish the meeting, a fruitful exploitation meeting took place in order to draw the final exploitation strategy for the MYCORRAY technology.
